KINDERGARTEN
Teaches young children who God is. How He loves us and what great things, He has created for us. This is considered a “religious readiness” program, helpful to laying a good foundation for formal religious training
ELEMENTARY – Grades 1 through 5
The program for elementary school encourages children to better understand their faith as they grow. The curriculum presents the core content in an age-appropriate way each year, helping children to mature in their faith. Each grade level over these five years is important even in non-sacramental preparation years
MIDDLE SCHOOL – Grades 6 through 8
Younger teens need a religious education program that addresses real-life teen issues and different learning styles. Our teaching resources create religion classes that focus on relationship building, active student participation and sound religious principles. There is an eighth-grade retreat given toward the end of that year
SPECIAL NEEDS
We are pleased to offer Religious Education classes as well as Sacramental Preparation for students enrolled in a Special Education program in public school
SPANISH CLASSES
Classes in Spanish are available for students in grades 1 through 3 only. The student must be able to read, write and speak in Spanish at their grade level
TUITION FEES
Tuition fees are based on number of students in family attending classes. These fees plus mailing and retreat fees (when applicable) are required to defray the cost of materials and other activities used each year
THE SACRAMENTS OF FIRST RECONCILIATION AND FIRST EUCHARIST
The preparation for the sacraments of First Reconciliation (Confession) and First Eucharist takes place during the second year of Religious Education instruction for the elementary and middle school students. The cooperation of parents is essential to the success of this sacramental preparation program. Parents are asked to attend five information meetings during the year. At the end of the second year, there are sixteen weeks of Sacramental Preparation.
Six weeks of Reconciliation Preparation
Nine weeks of Eucharist Preparation
